Art theatre and gallery Vissi d'Arte

Our art theatre and gallery is dedicated to all living souls that live for the love of art.

The name Vissi d'arte  is inspired by the famous soprano’s aria taken from act II Tosca by Giacomo Puccini 

It is sung by Tosca thinking of her fate and her lover’s life at the mercy of Scarpia.

The aria begins with “I lived for my art, I lived for love, I never did harm to a living soul!”.

She questions the god, for having her to make a decision to give away her dignity in the exchange for her lover’s life.

The theatre has a stage, 70 seats, LCD stage lights, Data projector, sound system, mixer board and Yamaha Clavinova.
